Porn star offers to give 300 of her movies to RC priests, to “help them deal with sexual tension and stress”

(US Porn actress Belladonna)

Well, it’s a thought – and they say it’s the thought that counts; in this case counting to three hundred…:

A PORN star has claimed priests should watch porn - in a bid to prevent sexual abuse. US actress Belladonna - who has starred in 250 x-rated films with both men and women - is in Australia to push her career in the same week the Pope is visiting for World Youth Day. Belladonna said she could offer a “meaningful set of exercises for priests to help them deal with sexual tension and stress”. She even offered 300 of her own movies to the Australian Catholic church.

Problem is, of course, that watching porn no doubt also is a sin – so encouraging priests to watch 300 porn flicks would be a serious case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. (Make your own joke by exchanging ‘robbing’ & ‘pay’ for sexual terms of your own choosing.)

Anyway, never mind the morality of the offer; it just wouldn’t work anyway. 300 movies filled with some porn star having sex with God knows how many men and women would not be of any practical help to the Roman Catholic church.

Given the kind of headlines the Church and its errant priests have been making for the last few decades, I’m sure I don’t have to spell out the reasons why offering these priests movies about sex between consenting adults wouldn’t do a blind bit of good.

Not that I’m totally convinced that watching porn would actually help people to “distinguish a sexual fantasy from real-life sex”, as this generous porn star put it, but even if it did, the law still frowns on the making, distributing and watching of child pornography.
