On his new tape bin Laden sounds just like Bush: He’s continuously changing his story, in order to explain his murdering ways
You remember how Bush changed stories in midstream about the reasons for invading Iraq: How its started with Iraq forming a clear and present danger to the US and its allies, and became a fairytale about freeing a country from its evil leader.
Well, now meet Bush’s true soul mate, Osama Bin laden:
Osama bin Laden added his voice to the birthday messages accompanying Israel’s 60th anniversary, vowing to fight on in the name of the Palestinian cause which he said was of primary concern to all Muslims.
“The Palestinian cause is the major issue for my nation. It was an important element in fuelling me from the beginning and the 19 others with a great motive to fight for those subjected to injustice and the oppressed,” he said, referring to the terrorists who hijacked four passenger aircraft in September 2001 to attack Washington and New York.
Yeah, right.
I vaguely seem to remember something about Russia and Afghanistan. That one then morphed Bush-like into a complaint about American soldiers occupying the holiest of all the holiest places, Iraq…
… and now, like that other last refuge for each and every murderous scoundrel, it seems Bin Laden’s rebirth as the psychopathic we’ve all come to know and love, took place in Israel.
Reinvention is, of course, what all celebs, politicians and psychos do continuously. I just find it slightly insulting that all of these grotesque Darwinian mishaps seem to think that we will swallow their bullshit all of the time.
