Like the Red Sea, Gwyneth Paltrow had a post-Moses depression

Hm, it’s probably old news for those who actually follow the lives of our celebs as closely as they follow their esoteric fads but it was news to me:
Gwyneth Paltrow may seem to have the perfect life, but things aren’t always as rosy as they appear.
The Oscar-winning mother of two is opening up about her battle with depression after giving birth to her and rocker hubby Chris Martin’s second child. “You know, I had postnatal depression after Moses,” Paltrow says in the new issue of Vogue. “I didn’t know I had it until after it was over. I just didn’t know what was wrong with me…I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down; I felt pessimistic.”
Me, I didn’t even know she had been expecting a baby but I can’t say I’m surprised about the depression. Post partum depressions are rather common anyway but in this case it was unavoidable.
Look what Moses did to the Red Sea when he wanted to make his escape from the Pharaoh…
I mean, anyone who does that kind of a ‘partum’ to a whole fucking sea ain’t gonna be too subtle when it comes to clawing himself out of the womb.
