Lego photographs are as useless as a legless tapdancer

You know how they say that everybody needs a hobby…?

Well, I’m not so sure of that. This one really is giving me the most Godawful headache:
Amateur photographer Mike Stimpson has recreated some of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century… in Lego. Mike spent hours painstakingly remodelling the instantly recognisable images from around the world using elaborate lighting set ups and macro photography.

Mike says of his Lego recreation of the famous Vietnam war photograph:
“The original is somewhat more distressing than the Lego version. It’s the smiley faces that do it.”

Mike says of his recreation of the famous Tiananmen Square shot:

“It took me hours to make four identical Lego tanks from my big bag of random Lego bits. I could have saved some time and only made three.”
